Mr Saravana Kumar Ramasamy


Mr. Saravana Kumar Ramasamy is a registered Safety and Health Consultant with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health of Malaysia. He obtained his qualification from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia and his professional qualification from University Technology of Malaysia (UTM). He is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in OSH Management from the same university.

During his tenure at Malaysian Marine and Heavy Engineering, Mr. Saravana was the Senior Health Safety Environment officer. His principal duties involved developing safety programs and safety induction programs and training programs, enforcing site safety rules and regulations and managing safety and health system for Gumusut Kakap SemiFPS Project under Shell and Petronas, Kikeh DTU (Dry Tree Unit) SPAR Project with Murphy Oil. He had been responsible as part of the team to achieve 5,000,000 man hours without LTI (Loss Time Injury) in oil and gas fabrication industry.

Mr. Saravana has designed and conducted many talks in the occupational safety and health industry which covered personal confidence in industry Safety and Health, which includes Employer and Employee’s responsibility in safety and health, safety talk or tool box talk, hazard communication, safety networking, teamwork and leadership, AAA Leader Team Building Program, Accident Causation Theory and many others.

Mr. Saravana has been exposed to established organization on leadership search which allows him to develop soft skills mainly in the area of Personality Plus and Body Language.

Mr. Saravana has the ability of presenting ideas in a simple understandable manner sprinkled with humor which makes his sessions lively and conducive. Many have commented Mr. Saravana as a talented trainer who is able to enrich and enhance every participant who has attended his training.
